Dog barking complaint

COOKSTOWN District Council have recommended that details of a matter involving a barking dog in the Forthglen area of the town, be referred to its legal representative.

A recent sub-committee meeting was told the issue was being forwarded with a view to instigating formal action against the keeper of the animal for a breach of the statutory Abatement Notice issued under Section 65 of the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.
