THE Battery Harbour will rock to its very core once again this weekend when the annual Coolstock Festival rolls into town.
Raising thousands for Cancer Research in previous years, Coolstock will once again emulate such success by staging multiple bands at the venue this Saturday, September 5.

The annual festival is a chance for the local rock community to let their hair down in a poorly represented area where music can all too often play second fiddle.

Acts taking part this year range from the rock and roll fraternity of cover bands such as Metallitia and The Rubber Plants to original acts in the form of Sword Chant and Zero Theory among others.

The event will kick off at 2pm and run to late with full bar and food facilities available. Coolstock is supported by Cookstown District Council.

For more details check out the festival's bebo and myspace pages.
