SURELY partial to a pint or two of the black stuff themselves, General Fiasco will have been chuffed to bits then to have been chosen to join the Arthur's Day celebrations next week.
The Arthur's Day celebrations, to mark 250 years since Arthur Guinness signed the 9,000 year lease on the St James's Gate Brewery in Dublin, will begin in the Irish capital at 17:59 next Thursday with a toast to Arthur and will carry on around the world in Lagos, Kuala Lumpur and New York.

Fiasco will join the Dublin leg of the celebrations alongside the likes of David Kitt, Oppenheimer and The Magic Numbers.

The performances will be beamed across the world as many acts play various exotic locations in memory of an Irish stout - go figure.
But with the Dublin section at least, Fiasco's involvement will turn things up a notch.
