THIS weekend will see the introduction of a very special folk festival featuring some of the finest folking talent the country has to offer.
Across three nights, Friday to Sunday, the Cellar Bar in Draperstown will hold its inaugural folk festival with a twist - each night will have its own unique line-up of bands and songwriters.
Friday night will see a line-up of singer songwriters in the form of Oonagh Clarke, Declan McLaughlin, Paddy Nash and his Happy Enchiladas and Declan McLaughlin.
While on Saturday night it's the turn of the bands and it's down to Ard Ri, Barefoot, The Little Hooks and Here Comes The Landed Gentry to get the place pumping.
Then on Sunday be chilled back into the real world with the cool as ice Junior Johnson playing, in the way only he can, in the front bar, following a traditional session.
It's the sort of party style weekend which is guaranteed to get you in the mood for the cold winter months ahead.
On Friday night the doors open from 9pm and just £5 gets you entry. Admission on Saturday is from 9pm and costs £8. But, why not buy a weekend ticket for £10?
