LIKE everyone else who heard the great news last week, we too couldn't be happier for local band General Fiasco.
Signing a deal with Infectious Records, the same people who hold the likes of Ash on their cards, Fiasco are an inspiration for any young band with dreams of better things.

So what now for the young ragamuffins? Well as well as last week announcing that they will headline the Ulster Hall in September with an Over 14s gig that will probably sell out in about 17 seconds, the trio will also grace the John Peel stage at Glastonbury later this year.

It's been a whirlwind time for the band who only formed about two years ago. Heavy touring schedules have them yo yo-ing up and down the UK, winning copious amounts of fans along the way.

The band will continue a UK tour until the end of June, all the while thinking about readying their debut album, due for release later this year.
