G SESSIONS return this Saturday with the mighty LaFaro along with support from Thrones Of Roll and DJ Deano.
WITH baited breath we have waited while our good friends at Glasgowbury HQ brought their legendary G Sessions back to life.

And now their return is just a few days away - shooting back into life this Saturday for the first time since that fateful festival day back in July.

Their post-festival return has always caused quite a stir as dozens of bands quite literally look about grabbing a piece of the legend and jump at the chance of joining the G Sessions ship.

And they return matured, as if they've blossomed into the young adult we all knew they would with the headline billing of sonic annihilation experts LaFaro.

Rock fellows Thrones Of Roll have rightfully earned the right to support while in a unique and really rather exciting twist, local spinster DJ Deano will play an exclusive house set. Needless to say we're excited, veryexcited.

LaFaro are one of the loudest and most musically challenging bands in our wee land, merging a grunge backbone to stunningly original arrangements to create an outer mind experience of epic proportions.

They've previously supported And So I Watch You From Afar on their last two local ventures, and are beyond ready to perch atop the bill.

In fact on their last trip their instruments just about managed the onslaught while they plucked a set full of rock gems that didn't even need the majesty of Tupenny Nudger to rest against.

Their fourth from top spot on Glasgowbury's main stage back in July further testament to all that's good and unholy from the fearsome foursome.

Joining them will be current wunderkids Thrones Of Roll, creating waves in all the right places with a recent successful EP launch and a battle of the bands crown to tuck under their studded belts.

It's heavy duty rock that continually stands the test of time and there's more than a few songs to get the blood pumping through lifeless veins.

And then of course, we have the prospect of DJ Deano and the promise of an exclusive house set.

It's a bold and exciting move, but one we know will have been planned with care and one which will pack the G Sessions with yet more punch.
They G Sessions are back and they're as exciting as ever - the next few months will be very special indeed.
