THE hockey girls at Rainey Endowed have put themselves within touching distance of a little piece of history.
It's 25 years since the school lifted the coveted Ulster Schools' Junior hockey Cup - but they've secured a place in the last four thanks to a 2-0 win over Armagh Royal on Tuesday afternoon.

Goals from Megan Murray and Gemma Gregg paved the way for a semi-final place, where they awsait the winners of the BRA v Enniskillen Collegiate quarter-final yet to be played.

And Rainey will be fancied to make it past either side to secure their first appearance in the final since 1997
