COOKSTOWN High School student Rebecca Dallas will return to the Ulster hockey stage this weekend when she will represent Ulster at U-21 level at Lisnagarvey.
She has been chosen to represent her province in the Interprovincials to be held this Saturday and Sunday.

Rebecca's inclusion in the squad is a tremendous achievement as she is still only 17 years old. She has already represented Ulster at U-16 and U-18 level and Ireland at U-16 level.

She has also overcome two serious knee operations and at one time was unsure if she would ever play hockey again. Happily, she has battled back and is close to full fitness. She is also training with the Irish U-18 squad.

Past pupil Grace Watters should also have been playing and captaining the Ulster U-21 side, but had to drop out at the last minute due to illness.

This was a massive disappointment for Grace, who has also captained the province to a winning Interprovincial campaign at U-18 level a few years ago.
