Cashier No 9 return to G Sessions

CURRENTLY riding the wave of critical acclaim, indie rockers Cashier No. 9 are set to return to the G Sessions in Draperstown next month.

Glasgowbury have just released information of the stellar gig that sees the Glasgowbury 2011 festival headliners return to the intimate surroundings of the Cellar Bar in Draperstown for the iconic G Sessions.

The Belfast sextet are keeping their foot firmly on the pedal this year with the recent news of their nomination for the coveted Choice Music Award for debut album ‘To The Death Of Fun’.

And aside from taking on the G Sessions headline slot, the guys will be well warmed up with soon to be had support slots at the O2 in Dublin and the Odyssey in Belfast to Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

Bangor four piece Kowalski will provide main support on the evening, bringing their unique blend of indie pop to the Draperstown table.

Completing the bill are local lads Pretty Child Backfire who are preparing to re-launch themselves in 2012 with exciting prospects ahead.

Last time Cashier No. 9 and the G Sessions joined forces in May 2011, doors were closed early as attendance sold out in record time.

The band play the Cellar Bar on Saturday 3 March, tickets are available from the Cellar Bar and Glasgowbury Office for £5. A limited number may be kept on the door on the night, but you should get your ticket to avoid disappointment. For more information go to www.glasgowbury.com.
