Love tour: Justin McGurk plays the Burnavon Theatre 17 February

LOCAL singer Justin McGurk takes to the Burnavon stage on Friday 17 February as part of his 2012 ‘Love Tour’.

Justin McGurk’s voice has been described as “Cool country with an edge, blending the old, the new and the unexplored.” An established song writer and recording artist, he now has seven successful solo albums to his credit.

Best known for his distinctive singing voice, Justin shows his diversity with the release of his latest album ‘Remember Me’, which features many of Ireland’s favourite songs and his latest single, very aptly entitled ‘Love’. Join Justin this Valentine’s with special guest Gerry Loughran (Wee Gerry) and Cathal Corey for a night of great music and song that you will not forget.

Justin has shared the stage in Nashville and toured the UK & Ireland with the likes of Nancy Griffith, The Bellamy Brothers Hal Ketchum, Collin Raye, Cara Dillon, Bonnie Tyler & The Proclaimers. He charmed the judges and viewers with an impressive run on TG4’s Glor Tire. Recently his songs “We’re gonna be alright, Take me to the fair & Love me” have been amongst the most requested & played songs on radio across the Province. With his ever growing fan base, the time is right for Justin to tour with his own great band “The Boogie Men.”

2009/10 saw Justin complete his first very own theatre tour and opening shows for Martina McBride & Randy Travis as well as performing at the third Country Fest In Letterkenny.
