Remaining line-up for Glasgowbury announced

GLASGOWBURY have completed their 2012 line-up with the announcement of a further ten acts set to play Northern Ireland’s Best Festival.

Joining acts already announved will be Mojo Fury, Rams’ Pocket Radio, Triggerman, Empty Lungs, Swanee River, The Red Velvetines, Paul Casey and Ard Ri with a special rural key collective showcase and the Red Bull Bedroom Jam winners Icon On Fire.

NI rock legends Therapy? are headlining this year’s evebt alongside previously announced acts The Japanese Popstars, Fighting With Wire, LaFaro, Axis Of and many more.

The completed bill now includes 52 musical acts featuring some of the best new and emerging talent from across Ireland, with a total of six stages showcasing something to suit all tastes.

“Selecting the line-up for this year’s festival was one of the most difficult yet due to the quality of submissions we received,” said festival organiser Paddy Glasgow.

“The team listened to over 700 entries and had the hard task of breaking that down into 50 acts.

“We feel that we’ve programmed one of the most vibrant festival programmes yet however, with the largest array of styles on show, and with something to suit almost everyone.”

“Away from the musical side of things there’s excitement for all with a comedy tent, village area a host of kids activities and much more to keep your festival spirit alive across the weekend,” he added.
