editorial image

7 DAYS DEAD are a groove-based, melodic metal band formed by Castledawson men Mark Johnston and Stephen Brown.

The lads formed the band just over a year ago after their previous band Interrogate unfortunately split up despite having released an album and completed a successful East Coast US tour.

Refusing to give up or dwell on the past, the two recruited bassist Chris “Kaxxx” Cassidy and vocalist Ryan McManus and in the short time they’ve been together have already, quote “cemented their reputation as one of the best on the local live circuit” - Planet Mosh.

The band have big plans for the future and intend on playing everywhere they can, not only in Ireland but also the UK and further afield. They are set to release their debut EP “Beyond Within” on Saturday February 16 with an early evening launch gig at the Limelight2 in Belfast with support from 3 of the best local acts about in local metal legends Honey For Christ, Spittin’ Bones from Dublin and Belfast groove-monsters Red Six.

Doors open 5pm, admission is £5 and the first 50 in will be entered in to a draw to win a £20 Amazon voucher. If you like your music heavy and full of groove you do not want to miss this one! You can listen to a couple of the tracks online right now and find out more about 7 Days Dead at www.7daysdead.com or facebook/7daysdead
