Council to host Halloween event

DUNGANNON and South Tyrone Borough Council in association with Coalisland Residents Steering Group as part of this years Halloween Celebrations in the Borough are bringing a Fun Packed program of activities for the whole family to culminating in a Grand Fireworks Spectacular that is guaranteed to light up the Coalisland Night Sky on October 31st at 9.00pm at Gortgonis Complex.

Activities include Spooky Trails, Funfair Amusements, Bouncy Castles, Ghost Storytelling, Face Painting, Mini Olympics, Five-A-Side Football.

Celebrations will begin on Monday 29th of October as the lead in to the day sees a wide range of activities at OGRAS Youth Club. On Monday and Tuesday evenings there will be lots on offer for young people at the centre. On Halloween day OGRAS are holding a family fun day with bouncy castles, apple bobbing, face painting. At 7pm there will be a kiddies fancy dress disco where prizes will be given out for the best costume.

Mayor of Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council Phelim Gildernew said of the event “Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council are pleased to be assisting the Coalisland Residents Steering Group with this initiative which will provide a family friendly atmosphere on the run up to this years Halloween allowing young and old to participate in a diverse range of activities the town has to offer. This Event will coincide with the Spooktacular events which are planned for Dungannon Town Centre on Oct 29th with a full programme of events and a fireworks spectacular. “
