Benefit fraud

A COOKSTOWN woman has been convicted of benefit fraud at Dungannon Magistrate's Court.
Pamela Campton (44) of Princess Avenue, claimed Income Support totalling £3,658 while failing to declare she had capital. She was fined £1000 and ordered to pay court costs.

Campton is also required to repay the money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.

This brings to 89 the total number of successful prosecutions this year.
