POLICE are appealing for information after a man was assaulted as he walked though Greenvale Park on Sunday night (1st).
The victim was attacked from behind and sustained injuries to his cheekbone and eye socket. Anyone who was in the area between 9pm and 10.15pm and could further help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Magherafelt station on 0845 600 8000.
