St Malachy’s GAC in Moortown are promising to “take you on a mesmerising trip to Wonderland and back” with this year’s Christmas Pantomime offering.
The club, which is hosting six performances of Alice in Wonderland at Ardboe Hall, has managed to pull in “the legendary and hugely successful” Brian Morgan to direct the show.
And with a cast of over 100 due to tread the boards, they said there are sure to be some well-known faces on stage, in the first two weeks of December.
Rehearsing tirelessly for the show since June, the club has said Ardboe Hall “on the night will be completely transformed”.
Promising “a spectacle unlike anything ever seen or held in this venue before”, the club has also given Alice in Wonderland the Moortown treatment “as we put our very own spin on this legendary tale”.
Entry to the show, which will play on Friday, December 5 (two school matinees), Saturday 6, Sunday 7 at 8pm and on Saturday 13 for a 2pm matinee and 8pm show, costs £12 for adults and £7 for children.
While matinees are £10 for adults, and £5 for youngsters. Tickets are available from Costcutters and Kelly’s in Moortown or Forbes & McConvilles in Ardboe.
Alternatively you can contact any club committee member to place your order - but it is advised you act quickly as the club expects to sell-out.
