Phil on full power for Belfast opener
SIXTEEN times World Darts Champion Phil Taylor reckons Belfast is one of the top venues on the PDC circuit and it is no surprise the Odyssey Arena kicks off the new McCoy’s Premier League on Thursday night.
Thousands of local dart fans will be in for a treat says Taylor in his interview with Gary Ellis who caught up with the star during a visit to Ravenhill where the PDC players met up with Ulster rugby players Stephen Ferris, Paddy Wallace and Dan Tuohy.
Taylor and Michael van Gerwen will bring a great night of darts to a close when they go head to head in a rematch of their recent World Championship final which Taylor won 7-4 to claim his 16th world crown.
In this exclusive interview Taylor talks about what keeps him at the top and gives a hint of when he might retire from the world stage.
