Book on Ballinascreen Schools faces delay

UNFORTUNATELY, due to delays at the printers, the Historical Society's book on the history of local schools will not now be ready before Christmas.
It will however be available in early January with all the proceeds going to Marie Curie cancer Care.
Generous sponsorship has been obtained from local businesses to cover the printing costs so that the funds raised can be maximised.
With 122 pages, including 27 photographs of school groups from the 1890s to the 1960s, this book should prove to be extremely popular.
Hundreds of local people appear in the photographs which span several generations. Voluntary help with distribution or selling would be appreciated. Inquiries should be directed to 796 28514.
