Breaking: Attempted bank robbery in Magherafelt
There are reports of an attempted bank robbery in Magherafelt this afternoon.
Police are currently at Broad Street and a helicopter is hovering overhead.There are two banks in the area - the Northern Bank and Ulster Bank - and it is unclear which one has been robbed.A PSNI spokesperson confirmed that they were investigating an incident and more information would be available later.
