The Belfast schemes would bring 1,200 new rooms to the city, alongside 300 construction jobs.

Martin Magee, managing director of McAleer & Rushe contracts UK, said the latest deal “marks an important milestone in the redevelopment of the now derelict ZurichHouse, which has been an important talisman building for many in Portsmouth.

“Our new partnership with Threesixty is leading to further opportunities in development and construction for both companies in the UK and Ireland.

“McAleer & Rushe is also currently working on our first project together. It is an £18m contract to build Threesixty a 356-bedroom eight-storey student accommodation scheme.” The deal for McAleer & Rushe is the latest large contract it’s landed in the last few months.
