Domino’s Pizza is on the search for 30 new staff following the announcement it is opening a store in Magherafelt later this year.
The firm - which sees itself as the leading pizza company - said the new premises mean an investment of over £250,000 in the local area, as well as a jobs boost.
They are now on the lookout for pizza makers, customer service staff and delivery drivers and is holding a recruitment day, on Tuesday, August 23 from 11am-3pm in The Terrace Hotel in Magherafelt.
Justin Quirke, franchisee said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our doors to the people of Magherafelt and we’re looking forward to delivering piping hot pizzas to hundreds of homes.
“We’re also keen to hear from applicants in the local area who may be looking to develop new skills, or who are in search of a second job. The right team player will show that they can deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate integrity, honesty and reliability, as well as having a real passion for freshly made pizza.”
At induction, as well as throughout their career, Domino’s said it offers its employees full training, ranging from dough management and food hygiene for pizza makers through to road safety for all delivery drivers.
The new store will be located at 5, Rainey St, Magherafelt, but when it opens customers will also be able to order their pizza through Facebook Messenger with the easy order bot.
Called ‘Dom’ on Facebook, the bot is an artificially intelligent customer whiz designed to help super fans get their pizza fix. You simply message the word ‘PIZZA’ to Dom via Messenger. Just set up an Easy Order account at Dominos.ie and pair it with your Facebook.
