“I was delighted to be approached by Fiona Graham of Sonny and Skye Productions to contribute to Songs For Amy,” says McKee. “Fiona felt my music was ideal for the storyline and we worked with the cast and production crew intensely over a two year period to bring the movie to life. It is fantastic that we are now at the stage of bringing the film to a wider audience following its premiere this week in Dublin.”

The Songs For Amy premiere is part of a busy year for McKee who plans to showcase his art and music in his native Cookstown at the Burnavon Theatre in the Autumn as well as record a brand new album.

Music from the film is available for download on iTunes and the songs featured are entitled ‘Soul Friend’ (from the album Just a Piece of) ‘Show Me The Love’, ‘Amy’ and ‘The Greatest Best Thing’ (from the album Goodness Comes From The Heart).
