BUSINESSES in Cookstown took part in the NSPCC’s Stop for Tea event in March to help raise funds for the charity’s services in Northern Ireland.
And Fionnuala Savage, NSPCC community fundraising manager said they wanted to thank all the Cookstown businesses who got involved.
“Your support is vital to us as we try to help some of the most vulnerable children and families in Northern Ireland,” she added.
Funds raised by Cookstown businesses will help support local children through the ChildLine service, the NSPCC’s free 24hr phone and online helpline, the Young Witness Service which supports children who have to give evidence in court, and keeping safe education for all primary school age children.
