MEMBERS of Cookstown Young Farmers’ Club (CYFC) recently launched the countdown to their ‘Big Fat Gypsy Night Out!’ which is set to take place on Saturday 15th September in The Sugar Club, Royal Hotel, Cookstown.
CYFC club members will throw wide the doors of The Sugar Club, at the Royal Hotel Cookstown, and play host to a night of fun, frills and flouncy frolics.
Inspired by the popular TV programme Cookstown Club Members are excited to offer a fancy dress disco with a bigger, fatter gyspier difference!
They invite one and all to engage the imagination, dust off that creativity, and get a costume to celebrate the adventure of leaf-on-the-wind living.
Music will be provided by the superb DJ Luke, who’s extensive musical knowledge will sure to have everyone dancing until the cows come home. Everyone is welcome although it is strictly over 18s and ID will be required.
Cookstown Young Farmers’ Club would also like to remind everyone that the new winter club programme will commence on Tuesday 8th September at Desertcreat WI Hall. The season will kick off with a Fantasy Fun Night at 8.30pm, where members old and new will be treated to a range of fun and games designed to help all reconnect with their inner child.
The Club Leader is excited about the program of events for this new year as it is jam-packed with outings, competitions, entertainments, charitable deeds, feasting and much more.
She strongly encourages anyone interested in finding out what being a member of Young Farmers’ Club means, to come along and partake of the entertainment. Club meetings are held every other Tuesday night at 8.30pm in Desertcreat WI Hall and everyone is welcome.
