Member of public helps police collar drink driver in Coalisland

Police have praised a member of the public who helped them 'take another drink driver off the roads' In the Coalisland area on Sunday.

The motorist was arrested after blowing a breath sample at over three times the legal limit.

In a message posted by Dungannon and South Tyrone PSNI on Facebook, they said: "Another Sunday. Another drink-driver taken off our streets.

"Thanks to a member of the public and some excellent police work, another driver was arrested and taken off our roads today in the Coalisland area after blowing over three times the legal drink drive limit.

"The driver was processed at custody and a date in court lies ahead."
