Police in Cookstown are investigating an assault which took place in the James Street area of the town on Sunday 1st September.

At approximately 2.10am, a man was assaulted by a male described as tall, blonde and wearing a light blue top, before making off on foot towards the Fairhill area of the town.  The victim sustained facial injuries.
