Detectives in Cookstown are investigating a report of an attempted burglary in the Stewartstown area, after locks were cut from a shed door sometime between last Thursday and Friday.
Detective Inspector Hazel Reid said: “Locks were cut off an iron shed door in the Annaghone Road area sometime between 7pm on Thurs 5th Feb and 8am on Fri 6th February. The shed contained machinery and tools.
“Police are would like anyone with information regarding any suspicious vehicles or persons in the area to contact them on the 101 number, quoting reference number 7446215.
“Alternatively information can be passed via the independent Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.”
