Silvija Dulkiene who works at the Dungannon Moy Park site has been awarded the title of ‘Apprentice of the Year’ at the recent Moy Park Apprentice Awards Day.
Moy Park recognised seventeen employees who have successfully completed the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme at Level 3, at a special event held at the company’s Craigavon site.
The apprenticeship programme, which was delivered in partnership with A4E (Action for Employment) and was supported by Loughry College and Southern Regional College, covered a variety of topics from food industry and management skills to risk assessment and food safety. The presentation ceremony acknowledged all those employees who had completed courses in Essential Skills, Level 2 ILM, Level 3 ILM and IPQ LEVEL 3.
Noel Millar, IPQ and Outreach Manager Moy Park, said, “At Moy Park we actively promote employees’ career development and we’re delighted to recognise and celebrate the success of all those who have successfully completed their apprenticeship course. We would also like to extend our congratulations to Silvija Dulkiene who was awarded ‘A4E Apprentice of the Year’. All of our apprentices are examples of what can be achieved through hard work and dedication and we know that the skills they have learnt will benefit them in their future careers.”
