AFTER a hugely successful sell-out event last September, the hottest fashion show in town - ‘Heels on the Hill’ - is returning to Dungannon for a second year on 25 September.
Returning for its second year as part of a week-long celebration in the town, ‘Heels on the Hill’ is set to be bigger and better than ever with a catwalk full of collections from independent retailers, the high street’s most loved brands and the ever fabulous Linen Green.
This year, well-heeled gents will also be gracing the catwalk alongside the lovely ladies with a number of hot-to-trot male retailers taking part.
The catwalk extravaganza, which will be hosted by Dungannon girl and former Miss Northern Ireland Joanne Salley, is set to be jam packed with all of this season’s latest trends including scarlet red, pretty pastel pinks, turtle necks, leopard print; and for textures - lace, chiffon and luxurious velvet as well as glamorous gowns.
The gents will also be suited and booted for the festivities with Dungannon’s great selection of menswear retailers covering everything for the boys from the sharpest styles in suits to the coolest casuals.
Mayor Cllr Sean McGuigan commented: “I am very pleased that ‘Heels on the Hill’ is back for a second year, following the success of our inaugural event in 2012.
“The show proved to be a real boost for the community, retailers and the general Dungannon area and also enhanced our great sense of style. We are lucky to have such a wide variety of high street stores and independent boutiques available in Dungannon and we look forward to another sell-out event!”
The fabulous fashion show arrives in the town centre on Wednesday 25 September at the Festive Hill Marquee. Tickets are available from participating retailers and Ranfurly House Arts and Visitor Centre. Call 028 8772 8600.
