THE Mid-Ulster School Of Music is getting into the summer spirit with a range of workshops to suit all ages.

The Battle of the Bands workshop takes place from July 30 to August 11 and participants can become part of a band for two weeks. Join a group, learn your song, then battle it out and win a cash prize.

Alternatively you can join the workshop which gives you the chance to stage a musical. Running from August 13 to August 25, you can learn to sing, dance and act in Disney musical The Aristocats.

If you’re a fan of Glee, you will want to join the Glee Tastic workshop which runs from July 30 to August 4 (Group A), and August 6 to August 11 (Group B). You can become part of a show choir just like the Glee television series and perform songs like Don’t Stop Believin’.
