Cookstown girl Rachel McKeown wins Standard Bearer competition
Mid Ulster MLA Ian McCrea has congratulated Rachel McKeown on taking first place in the 2016 RBL National Youth Standard Bearers Competition in Manchester at the weekend.
The DUP assembly man: “I am delighted to hear that Rachel McKeown has won the 2016 Royal British Legion National Youth Standard Bearers competition.
“The fact that Rachel and the Cookstown Royal British Legion have been doing so well in all competitions is of no surprise given the training and dedication clearly shown by the Cookstown Branch and I want to congratulate them all for their efforts.
I would like to also wish Norman & Susan every success as they both prepare for their respective national competitions in the coming months as well.”
