“I really enjoyed the ceremony at Lissan House and would encourage other young people to get involved in volunteering in any way they can.’

Hannah who has been a volunteer with the Speedwell Trust since 2013, received the award from Mid Ulster MLA Sandra Overend who is member of the Assembly Education Committee, last week.

Eamon McClean, Trust Manager expressed his delight for Hannah.

He said: “We were delighted that Hannah was selected for this award. She has been generous with her time, volunteering well over 200 hours with Speedwell Trust and has assisted us in a range of projects over the last three years. She is a great role model to the younger children who take part in Speedwell projects.”
