A COOKSTOWN man has told how thugs smashed his windows, threw red paint over his porch and posted a chilling threat through his door - all because of his religion.
The Catholic man had been living in the Cooke Crescent/Stewart Avenue area of the town when the attacks started five months ago.
The MAIL obtained a copy of the poisoned pen threat posted through the door of 51 year-old’s home of five years.
It ordered him to leave the area, and said his movements were being monitored,
He told the MAIL: “How can you stop intimidation? They have won in the sense that I have moved out - that’s what they wanted.”
FULL STORY AND INTERVIEW IN TOMORROW’S MID-ULSTER MAIL.
