IN the name of charitable goodness eagle eyed adventurers Emma-Jayne Earls and Lynn Richardson, request the pleasure of your company as they host a toe-tapping Social in the Methodist Church, Cookstown.
The curious pair will officially launch their efforts to raise funds for their forthcoming Inca Trail Trek in search of Machu Picchu.
And the reason for such arduous adventuring? Why charity of course!
Two, to be precise – yes that’s right, so determined are they in their wanderings that all money raised shall be split between two charities namely, The Garden of Hope, a Kenyan based feeding programme, and The Alzheimer’s Society of Northern Ireland.
This fundraising Social shall take place on Friday 22nd March in the Methodist Church hall in Cookstown. And having successfully acquired the musical talents of the ever popular band ‘Eternity’, the pair are quite confident that only the exceptionally stubborn will be able to resist the call to dance like no-one’s watching.
Spring has arrived and with it a world of adventure which our friends, EJ and Lynn, are determined to seek out in order to make a positive contribution to those less fortunate. So join the hoorah if you will, reconnect with the social scene and dance a cheery tune to the welcome retreat of winter gloom.
This event will take place at The Methodist Church, Cookstown on Friday 22nd March. Doors open at 10pm and entry is charged at £6 per person. For further details call EJ on 0775-201-8124 or Lynn on 0771-638-0513 or find them on the Facebook.
