Police are renewing their appeal for further witnesses to come forward following an accident at the junction of the Moneymore Road and Tamlaghtmore Road in Cookstown, that killed a Moneymore woman.

Mrs Bernadette McNicholl died following the one vehicle RTC at approximately 2.35am on Sunday 12 April.

Three men aged 27, 20 and 18 were arrested on the morning of Sunday 12 April, but were all later released on bail pending further enquiries.

Speaking about the appeal, Inspector Rory Hoy said: “I appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw a red Renault Clio. “We are also keen to speak to anyone who was walking on the Moneymore Road, Cookstown between 2am-2.35am or has any information in relation to the accident, to please contact us at Cookstown on 101.”
