BOOKS and documents sourced from the personal collection of Stewartstown priest, Father Aloysius MacCourt, have been included in the Parish Spiritual Library, which is now open to the public in the Holy Family Church in Coalisland.

Father MacCourt’s collection features a number of spiritual and scriptural readings, as well as documents from the church.

The library, which has been housed in what was formerly Fr Paul’s reconciliation room in the church on Plater’s Hill in Coalisland, will open each day, and people are free to come and sit for a while and peruse through any of the books on display.

Anyone who is interested in reading more about the teachings of the Catholic Church on various subjects such as divorce, Holy Communion and family life, is welcome to come along and visit the new facility.

Members of the public are invited to learn more about the documents and teachings of the Church without having to pay money buying books or listening to the teachings of others who speak on such issues relating to topics of importance in daily spiritual life.
