Cookstown community shocked by sudden death of young business man

The Cookstown community has been stunned by the sudden death of a well respected young business man.

Aged just 27, Niall Loughran was the son of Robert and Pauline from Killeenan, Kildress.

The youngest of a family of four, he is also survived by his sisters Joanna, Geraldine and Colleen.

Resident in Cookstown, Niall was a well known businessman , an undertaker by profession.

Rev Fr Gerard Tremer, Parish Priest, Cookstown,paid tribute to Niall especially for his tremendous work with the local Saint Vincent De Paul Society.

“I’m devastated to hear of the death of this young man. Niall was heavily involved in the Saint Vincent De Paul Society here in Town.

“Niall was a local undertaker. He was a very kind, warm, hospitable person.

“He was a very generous person with his time and energy, and extremely well liked throughout the area.”
