A COOKSTOWN retail outlet has made an appeal for the owner of a ring found in the store to come forward.
Staff in the restaurant of the Menary’s store on Cookstown’s William Street found the ring, which is gold and contains rubies and diamonds, earlier this week.
Store Manager, Jacqui Brown, contacted the MAIL in a bid to find the owner of the piece of jewellery which, she believes, holds sentimental value.
“This is a beautiful ring which obviously is of high sentimental value to someone”, explained Jacqui.
“The ring contains what looks to be a memorable date and a personal inscription.
“We would really love to find the owner so that they can be reunited with what is clearly a very sentimental item.”
Anyone who thinks they may know the owner of the ring can call into the Menary’s store and speak to Jacqui or one of her staff.
The store can also be contacted by telephone on 028 8676 3364.
