Grease is the word on everyone’s lips in and around Coalisland at the moment in anticipation of the Coalisland Fianna production of the 1978 American musical ‘Grease.’

The Coalisland Fianna production will be running in the Parochial Centre, Coalisland on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th March.

Directed by Brian Morgan, who has been involved with many other local productions across Tyrone including Brackaville’s production of Father Ted told the TIMES it is show not be missed.

“I was approached by members Sinead Duffy, Orla Bayne and Darren Corr who have been instrumental in organising the show and the idea of doing a musical and Grease was decided on. The Coalisland Committee have been hugely supportive and have been out in force in recent weeks publicising the event.

“Without giving too much away, the show basically has something to suit all ages. It has a great age range in the cast from young children right through to older members, It is our own version of Grease, we have put our own unique interpretation on it. The sets and lighting are going to be amazing, it simply is not be missed.”

Tickets are on sale now and are available from McGlincheys cafe, Boyz to Men Barbers, Conor Lowes shop and Island Decor. Priced at just £12 buy early to avoid disappointment!
