Police and the family of a 22-year-old Dungiven man are growing concerned for his wellbeing following a traffic collision near Tobermore early this morning.

Connor O’Kane was the driver of a car that was involved in a collision on the Draperstown Road shortly after 1am.

His car had sustained serious frontal damage, but he was not there when police arrived and a passenger, who had sustained a head injury, did not know of his whereabouts.

Mr O’Kane is described as being 5ft 11 inches tall, with ginger hair and is of a slim athletic build.

Anyone who has seen Mr O’Kane, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.
