Moneyglass champion jump jockey Tony McCoy OBE, today added an honorary degree to his sparkling list of achievements.

The 40-year-old has been recognised at the University of Ulster for his outstanding contribution to his sport.

The achievements of McCoy, known to race-goers as AP, are simply unsurpassed

in the world of horse racing, with the jockey clocking up more than 4,000 wins

in a 22-year career.
