Woman hit by broken glass in Garvagh attack

Police are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage that occurred in the early hours of Monday 3 March in the Garvagh area.

At approximately 1am, three men smashed two windows at one property in the Glebeview Park area before proceeding to another property and smashing two windows there. A woman, aged in her 40s, was hit in the face by a piece of glass in the second house.

It is not believed that she required medical treatment. The windscreen and a side window of a car were also smashed.

The three men wore balaclavas and are believed to have made off on foot in the direction of Upper Mettican Road.
