RESURFACING at one of the busiest junctions along the Dungannon to Cookstown A29 Road, is one of a number of projects planned by the Department of Regional Development’s Roads Service in the area over the next year.

The work, which will start at Agharan Crossroads, was detailed in the annual Roads Service report delivered to a meeting of Dungannon Council.

DRD Minister, Danny Kennedy, said over £6.7million was spent on road schemes and maintenance work in the Dungannon area in 2014.

A major road surfacing scheme is also to be carried out on the A5 Tullyvar Road from Moore Street, Aughnacloy, towards Ballygawley within the next year.
