Cookstown Celtic notes

ON Saturday 25th August Cookstown Celtic were left frustrated when their opponents, Sporting Lurgan failed to field a team for their league clash at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena. This was unfortunate for Cookstown Celtic as they hoped to remain at the top of the table after a 100% start to the season.

This Saturday 1st September Cookstown Celtic will travel to Lurgan to play Lurgan Town in the 2nd Round of the Marshall Cup. This should prove to be a very difficult fixture for the Cookstown team as there opponents are playing several leagues above them in the Mid Ulster league

Training

Training continues every Wednesday night at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena, starting at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend
