Crash leaves woman in ‘serious condition’

A WOMAN has been seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on the outskirts of Magherafelt.

The 52-year-old woman was taken to hospital following the accident at Curran Road, which has been closed.

Diversions remain in place and police are advising motorists that the diversions and road closure signs are there for a reason and are asking them not to ignore them.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision involving a silver coloured Renault Clio to contact police t Magherafelt on 0845 600 8000
