Dangerous driving appeal

POLICE in Magherafelt are appealing for information in relation to an alleged incident of dangerous driving.

Several cars were in a queue of traffic at the Aughrim Road and Creagh Road junction in Magherafelt, when a dark old style BMW car over took the queue of cars and drove through the junction forcing opposing vehicles to swerve onto the hard shoulder.

Police say the incident happened at 5.15pm on Tuesday, September 18.

They believe the junction was very busy with traffic at the time and are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to contact Police at Magherafelt station on 0845 600 8000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
