POLICE investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the Moneynick Road in Toomebridge earlier this month are making a specific appeal for witnesses.

A 21-year-old man died when the car he was driving collided with a lorry a short distance from the M2 at around 11pm on Wednesday, November 21. Officers are aware that four cars were travelling northbound behind the lorry at the time of the collision however only two drivers have been spoken to. Police would urge the drivers and passengers of the other two cars to get in touch. They can be reached by calling 0845 600 8000.
