Friends of the Somme

THE Friends of the Somme Mid-Ulster Branch will meet in their usual location, the RBL, Burn Road, Cookstown on Thursday 31st January at 8.00pm.

Dr Hilda Kean from the Ruskin College, Cambridge will present a lecture entitled ‘Animals in War’ Anyone wishing to go on the ‘Home Rule Heritage Tour’ on Saturday 9th March will need to ensure that their name is on the list.

There are still seats available for the 2013 Somme and Ypres tour which departs on Thursday 27th June and returns on Friday 5th July. Payments towards the tour will be collected on the night.
