Man faces indecent image charge

A MAGHERAFELT man has appeared in court accused of two counts of possessing and taking indecent photographs of a child.

Mark Henry (32) of Piney Hill is accused of committing the offences on July 19th 2011. The 32 year-old is further accused of taking and distributing indecent photographs of a child between the dates of May 11th 2009 and July 17th 2011. A PPS solicitor said the charges relate to images found on a computer. A police constable said he believed he could connect the accused to the charges. Henry will reappear at Magherafelt Magistrates Court on November 21st.
