Man to stand trial on heroin charges

A FORMER Magherafelt man is to stand trial on drugs charges.

Nigel Martyn Stewart (38) now residing at an address in Ballymena but formerly of Killowen Drive, Magherafelt faces three charges of possessing heroin and two of having the drug with intent to supply in April 2010.

Stewart was remanded, on bail of £500, for arraignment at Londonderry Crown Court on October 25 when he appeared at Magherafelt Magistrates Court.
